Check it out.In conjunction with a DEFCON tournament running at this years PAX07, Introversion and Ambrosia Software (publishers of DEFCON Mac) have decided to run a DEFCON free-play weekend. The event will start at 18:00 GMT on August 24th and run until 06:00 GMT on Monday, August 27th at 06:00 GMT. During this time usual demo restrictions will be lifted and you won't be required to provide key codes to have access to the full game, making DEFCON free for all to play. Feel free to spread the word amongst your friends and family, and we look forward to welcoming a few new faces next week.
This is not a Steam thing (though you can use Steam if you want), just download the entire game from the web site and play the full thing for free this weekend.
