I see we have a Music, Art, and General Community Thread...
...yet, there's no Movie Board.

I am suggesting, since we do talk a lot about movies in the past on boards, that Movies get their own board.

What do y'all think???

Y'know Raisa, that's actually not a bad idea either....

..even though I'd rather have Movies having their own Movie Board.

To be honest, I don't care. Might make sense to make the music board just general non-game entertainment, though, because there wasn't a lot of activity there before.

I like the idea of a movie or entertainment board for 2 reasons. First, if I watch a movie months after you guys did it's easy to find. I guess that's not a problem anymore with search though. Second, if we do have an Entertainment section on the new site we can tie it in with that forum instead of the general community forum.

The entertainment board isn't a bad idea, but we should at least word it differently, since there is a gaming section as well. Maybe "Movies and Music?"

I think he meant that we had one, but it was removed due to disuse. I don't remember either way.

I dunno if it's just me, but I always thought the Community Board was always hopping and quite active without all the Movie discussion and all.

If we do it, a combined Movies and Music board would be the way. Having an individual board is bad because it spreads us thin. Its like Pyro says, it keeps the "main" forum looking more active.

Especially when I can't get people really going into a topic I am interested in for some reason...

I definitely feel that it is a good idea, but not just yet. We just don't have enough traffic and the rush everyone sees right now is partly because of the excitement of the new board. I think once we have a lot more members then yes, good idea.

Right now it would spread things too thin.

LOL, sorry Pug, I made it before your post. I don't think it will take too much traffic away. If anything, it will liven up the music board. Plus that board will be a great resource for checking out movies and music that was posted in the past. It's too easy for that stuff to get lost in the community forum.

heh no worries. Just my thoughts. If it doesn't thin the traffic, then awesome. It would be great to have an entertainment section.

I think it'll be good. Community is pretty hopping at the moment (obviously this will die down at some point), and we almost always have simultaneous movie and music threads going. Hopefully the introduction of movies will get some more action going with the music aspect.
