Ever posted on 4chan? There are no screen names, and at least ten trillion messages get posted every second. Only the most recent threads are saved, so inactive threads get flushed down the memory hole after a few hours. Thus the only things that persist on 4chan are:

• Extremely lulzy threads.
• Extremely stupid memes.

Also, the only people that post on 4chan are trolls, pedophiles, and the FBI. The end result is simultaneously the best and worst thing on the Internet.
