Hmm, I might be down for a copy of Overlord and DIRT, and toss in Alpha Prime just for fun.

Overlord's totally worth that.  X3 is also really tempting...

I did try Overlord, which I have not finished -- which I did like quite a bit.
I got DIRT, but ain't even installed it...

I really dug X3: Reunion. Never finished it, though -- still got it installed, as I do tend to play this one now and again. And when I do play it, it's for hours and hours. There's really something about those X games that once you start playing, you just can't let the hell go of them. They're addictive as sin.

I'm betting X3: Terran is more of the same greatness -- with more improvements and whatnot. I must say, when it comes to patching their games and supporting their product, Egosoft is definitely up there.

ORIGINAL POST:
Since Obscure 2 is on sale and since GOG does have Obscure 1....
Anyone here played either Obscure or Obscure 2?

Idol, do you have the 6-CD set?
If so, make sure you get the latest patch to avoid the StarForce boot-check.
Gotta love patches that remove the CD-check.

Or did you get the re-release (Version 2.0) that was released  on DVD which contains no SF?

Woohoo!!!

NFS: Undercover was....quite disappointing.
I probably should try DIRT out, since it's just sitting here doing...nothing....

I been buying for them forever -- first game I bought from them was Neverwinter Nights. Nothing had any real problems with Gogamer period.

And the customer service staff -- online and through E-mails -- have always been helpful, if I had some sort of question or issue i.e.
For a while, I wasn't receiving newsletters from them for orders and new 48 Hour Sales and they fixed that problem; and I have had questions about shipping and they answered that, etc etc.

Never had a problem with GoGamer. Great site. Just watch that "dirt cheap shipping" option. If you order one item, usually they ship it first class since the price difference is nothing. But more than one and they go media mail which does take a while to show up. They tell you that, but waiting 2 weeks to save a couple bucks can be hard if you really want to play...heh.

Awesome.  I'll probably use them in the future.  as for the sims 3, i think i'll just eat the 10 bucks and surprise her with it today.
