Heroes of Newerth is the new game from S2 (Savage, Savage 2). It's pretty much a straight up clone on Defense of the Ancients. So if anyone is interested in a beta invite, I just got 3 to give out.

Isn't that the mod for Warcraft 3 that makes it a lot like Demigod?

Sort of. Demigod is "inspired by" DotA, but they are quite different in how they feel and play.

But yes, DotA is the Warcraft 3 mod. Instead of controlling a bunch of units you control aa single hero that you level up. Eventually you go trash the enemy base. Thats the basics.
