Topic: new cat!

went to an animal rescue centre today and picked out a cat for adoption. they're going to drop her off to me tomorrow, yay!

she is currently nameless, so i want to pick out something not entirely stupid, but maybe a bit geeky. i'm thinking "samus", as the colour and gender both fit - any other ideas?

We just got a new kitten a few days ago too! Just took some photos and I'm gonan post them soon. He's also got some ginger colour, we called him Misho.

I do not.  I love my rat.  They can coexist in some households okay anyway, but I don't think we're going to be getting a cat.  Most likely another couple of rats after our little guy finally gives up trying to fight his illness (he's been sick for a while, and meds can't do anything), and maybe a bird.

I'd feel bad keeping a bird unless it's flightless. It seems a little inhumane that they can't fly.

as much as i like que's name suggestion, i decided to stick with samus. she was dropped off today and is settling in very well - she seems to of purred constantly since she got here!
