Apparently PS3's are scarce right now?
« on: Sunday, February 21, 2010, 05:36:37 PM »
The wife and I were going to purchase a slim for the living room to use as blu-ray player and stream netflix.  Four B&M stores visited today and NONE of them had any.  Even Amazon is backordered 1-2 months.

Could be them creating a new SKU with their motion controller thingy. Bet we hear about it at E3.

I hadn't noticed.

But the PS3's line up this year is looking pretty dominant.

Upon some investigation it appears that Sony warned this would happen a few weeks ago.  Apparently the Christmas holiday was rather good to Sony.

It seems those are the exact same, from the hard drives to the wifi standards. It looks like they just found a different manufacturer.
