I was going to say the same thing.  Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race.  Jennie is a while Hispanic.  There are also black Cubans, yet they most certainly are Hispanic.

I think the American thought that Hispanic is a race is because of Mexicans, which are predominantly mestizo (white + native American).  But there are white Mexicans and they too are Hispanic.

Every response here perfectly represents the personality of the member. My one regret is that I could only misconstrue "Hispanic" and "Middle Eastern" as a race. I had no options for any of the others. Had I achieved that across the board, I would have gotten my point across.
