I'm sure that has to be some game - whether you're playing X-game for the 500th time or something you're excited about coming out very soon - that got you drooling.

I had lost interest in games for a good year and a half or so there. Just too busy with work and school I guess. But I've started to get back into them a lot in this past year or so. Since around when Batman came out.

Pug, are there really any other games (besides Crysis 2) that are up-and-coming that you are looking forward to?

Yeah I look at the gaming boards and just don't get excited.  Most of it is just my general disinterest in gaming for the past couple of years (literally there have been three games over that span that I have been excited about) but some of it is that it has shifted to a console focus and I'm just not much of a console gamer.

Yeah well, the whole industry shifted to a console focus. Very little is really PC exclusive. Lots of ports these days.

I just don't play games anymore.  I've played a handful of hours in the last 6 to 8 months.  I just can't seem to care anymore.  Too much shit in real life to worry about, entertaining myself is an extremely low priority.

I seem to be heading in the opposite direction as a lot you. Having finally landed an okay PC on which to game, I'm playing through all the games I missed in the past. As much as I enjoy the occasional console game, PC gaming has always intrigued me much more. And perhaps having a tedious ass job, I've found more pleasure in games (and books, as usual).

In fact, I'm currently enamored with Eve Online. I'd post more about it, but I don't think any of you are playing it.

I only did the trial of Eve. While I love the stories that people tell about what they do in the game, I don't really have it in me to actually play the game.
