Poor Raven Software...hit with more lay-offs
« on: Monday, October 11, 2010, 08:20:49 PM »
Shacknews -> More layoffs hit Raven - another 20-40 laid off.
Rumors are they are working on Map Packs for COD: Black Ops.

If y'all recall - last Shacknews reported in August 2009, they lost over 50 employees (out of an approx. 180).

This sucks, man. I remember the days when Raven was in its glory, man.
You could always count on Raven do deliver something that was AT LEAST solid and good.

Bleh.

It does suck.  I really loved a lot of the old Raven games... I know nothing about them as a company these days, though.  They definitely lost steam at some point.

omg D....

Anyway, their old games use to be pretty good.  It's too bad they haven't done anything high profile lately.

Nobody can be the real MyD - thank God.
One of me is one too many for this world.

EDIT:
And for those worried about Raven and what they've done lately for game-making, that's what Wikipedia is for.

The REAL MyD been trying to keep his posts not-as-longwinded, post-Alpha Protocol thread.
