Anyone check this game out yet?

I just downloaded the demo and so far it looks like cross between Megaman, Metroid, and Contra. I'm a platformer fan so the idea appeals to me but I have to give it a bit more of a try.

What's everyone's impression?

Well, definitely looks awesome.  I could be inclined to check it out since it isn't Steam-only.

Interesting.  I tried the demo of this last night for PC. Honestly, it didn't really do it for my, although it really should have when looking at it on paper.
