THEY HAVE RETURNED
« on: Wednesday, April 27, 2011, 10:54:37 PM »
Damn crickets. Jumping all over the place. Also there are these crazy little buggers that I've dealt with for a while - brown guys, the size of a caterpillar maybe a little smaller, but bigger body and about 10-12 legs. Fast as hell and smart. They will play dead even when crushed.

They are seemingly immune to poison that is sprayed. We need psychological warfare.

Has anyone dealt with such a threat? I need advice. Leaving the fallen for a day has done nothing to thwart them - it seems to have only strengthened them.

They are coming back here now too.  Luckily I live on the second floor so it's not as bad as when I used to live on the ground floor at a previous apartment a couple of years ago.  Those fuckers would get in the walls at that place and chirp in my walls when I'm trying to sleep.

Good read. :)

I think that I've killed most of the stupid bugs at this point. I've seen very few lately during the day (although admittedly I'm away most of the day now). But I've seen some during the night (when they come out, I guess), and have killed a few, but the smart ones know exactly where to hide. The bigger ones are quite smart - they take off at first movement and know where to go.

The crickets are pretty dumb, though. They just hop around like morons until you get them.
