Gotta love how the show's been on one hour and we've only seen two awards handed out - for Batman: AC and Zelda

EDIT:
Yet, they just blew through a shit-ton of award winners in like 30 seconds...and I couldn't keep up!
WTF?!?!?

The 3 Bastion awards weren't even given away during the show, it was during the online pre-show.

Which is a damn shame.
They should've given out MORE awards DURING the show.

Whipping through the winners quickly before a commercial break was garbage.

They should've done less comedy-skit bullshit.
As much as I like Felicia Day, I really don't need to see her clinging to a wall in a Spider-Man outfit.

At least, the list of winners came out quite decently this year, I guess.

The only thing good that came out of the VGA awards was the trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengenace.  Metal Gear game being developed by Platinum?  How much of my money do you want and where do I send it?

I thought it seemed a bit action heavy from the trailer. I didn't realize it was Platinum.

Mark Hamill and Tara Strong complain about the VGA's over Twitter.
BTW - Hamill voiced Joker, Strong voiced Harle Quinn in Batman: Arkham City.

Basically, they both complain that they had horrible "nose-bleed" bleacher seats AND weren't even mentioned for their VO work...and they BOTH were nominated for awards...
WTF??!?!

Neither won, BTW.

I'm surprised The Witcher 2 didn't make anything on the list.

Why is puzzle and strategy lumped together? Do they have some weird limit on the number of completely arbitrary and meaningless awards they are handing out? I guess its a console focused awards list because for the most part consoles don't have strategy games, but still.

And G4TV gave that game 5 stars, too.
It probably got lost in the RPG shuffle b/c of Skyrim.
