I never got even close to finishing the first one. That game was fun but kicked my ass.

I put a few hours into the original a couple months ago and all the puzzles were just too obscure for me. On one hand I can appreciate a tough game but on the other it was like I had to memorize every line of text and every screen to make any progress. That was just too much for me and I sorta stopped having any fun pretty quick.
